Plast Eurasia 2020 canceled
The 30th edition of Plast Eurasia Istanbul, which was originally scheduled to be held between 2-5 December 2020 by TUYAP in cooperation with the Turkish Plastics Industry Foundation (PAGEV), is canceled due to the Coronavirus pandemic that affected the whole world.
The statement by TUYAP Tum Fuarcilik Yapim A.S. on Plast Eurasia which entertained 1,085 companies from 40 countries along with 52 thousand 361 visitors from 106 countries last year said, “Having anticipated that it would not be possible to offer the complementary range of products and turnkey solutions which the industry professionals are accustomed to see every year, we kindly inform you that we will organize Plast Eurasia Istanbul on a new scheduled date, which is 1-4 December 2021, in line with the discussions with our exhibitors and industry representatives. All the rights vested in our exhibitors, who have executed the 2020 Exhibition participation contact and made their payments in full as of December 31, 2020, will be preserved in the contracts to be legally renewed for 2021. In this regard, you will be contacted by our exhibition team as soon as possible”.
Ahmet Meric, the 1st Deputy Chairman for PAGEV Exhibitions, delivered a message and remarked that the request for the exhibition to be held in 2021 is communicated to TUYAP and the said request is welcomed by TUYAP, considering the potential damages caused by the difficult times suffered to the integrity of Plast Eurasia.
One of the most far-reaching events in the plastics industry across the region, Plast Eurasia Istanbul will be organized at TUYAP Fair and Congress Center of Istanbul between 1 – 4 December 2021.
