GEMABiO started to manufacture compostable products
Gema Polimer announced that it started to manufacture compostable products as part of its R&D studies which lasted approximately 2.5 years. The statement from Gema Polimer said, “GEMABiO® products are a series of biodegradable and compostable compounds containing natural starch and other biological components. It is the greenest product solution for packaging and disposable products.”
“When the biological process is completed, GEMABiO® becomes a nature-friendly biomass that does not release carbon dioxide, water, inorganic compounds and visible pollutants or toxic residues,” said the statement which indicated that a product that can be degraded by microorganisms and enzymes is presented thanks to its special structure.
